UFI Filters’ heavy-duty offering grows again

UFI Filters
  • UFI continues to expand its Aftermarket filter ranges for heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs)
  • 78 new heavy-duty filters added in 2024 alone, including 67 for off-road vehicles
  • Raft of advanced introductions made possible year after year, thanks to UFI’s investments in HDV technologies and global original equipment (OE) expertise

UFI Filters, the leading filtration, thermal management and hydrogen mobility company, has continued to make the heavy-duty Aftermarket one of its key priorities in 2024.

The company has significantly expanded its heavy-duty filter ranges, announcing 78 major new additions for a wide range of vehicles in the past year.

This ongoing strengthening of UFI’s heavy-duty vehicle offering has been achieved yet again, despite the company having already extended its HDV Aftermarket ranges significantly in recent years.

Of the 78 introductions made in 2024, 67 of them were for the off-road sector and 11 for the truck and bus markets. They included five new oil filters, eight fuel filters, seven air filters, six cabin filters (off-road), 51 hydraulic circuit oil filters and one water filter (trucks).

Thanks to these additions, UFI's range of filters for the heavy-duty Aftermarket is now more complete than ever before, with more than 1,400 part numbers for on- and off-road use.

In the last three years alone, from 2022 to 2024 inclusive, the number of new UFI heavy-duty Aftermarket references has been considerable – totalling 466 introductions, of which 371 were off-road and 95 for trucks.

The expansions underline how UFI Filters’ Aftermarket customers benefit from the company’s extensive, year-on-year investments in the heavy-duty Aftermarket sector; and from UFI Group's original equipment experience, supplying filters for 50 per cent of global heavy goods vehicle production.

These technologies allow UFI Filters to constantly enrich its heavy-duty Aftermarket catalogue with products of the same, exacting quality as the Group’s OE components.

Among UFI Group's most recent successes in heavy-duty original equipment is the supply of the new filtration module for FPT Industrial's Cursor XC13 engine, FPT’s top-of-the-line truck engine. UFI also developed the oil filter for one of the most popular heavy-duty truck engines, Daimler Truck AG's HDEP (Heavy-Duty Engine Platform) OM471 for Mercedes-Benz Truck applications.

In fact, the oil filter cartridge specifically designed for the latter OE application is just one of the recent additions to UFI Filters’ heavy-duty Aftermarket catalogue. The company’s other established manufacturer partnerships also include Weichai, MAN, Iveco and, in the off-road sector, New Holland, FPT and SAME Deutz-Fahr.
